Marvel: Future Fight is the newest superhero-themed mobile game made by Netmarble Games and is associated with Marvel Entertainment under Disney, offering several super hero outfits with their characteristic attributes. In this game, one can choose from various Marvel comic book series to play as and fight against villains in future. In the game one needs not have any knowledge of comic books or any of the related superheroes. The player is put in the role of a future superhero and given several missions/missions from the police force, the Avengers and even the X Men to prevent what sort of disasters might lay in store for the earth. Marvel: Future Fight follows the story of the last remnant of the X Men, called the Pulse, who finds himself on the verge of extinction. He then calls upon his past associates from the Avengers and the X Men to help him save the world.
Marvel: Future Fight is an award-winning iPhone game that lets one enjoy the thrill of fighting with the use of his Marvel Comics heroes and villains. To start the game, the player can select any of the five playable characters of Marvel: Age of Ultron; Starfox, Solider, Bumblebee, and Dr. Neo Cortex. There are various missions available to complete in order to advance to the next level, where one can fight against the Vortex, an alternate version of the Marvel Universe where dimension doors have opened to other universes, trapping the villains inside.
Marvel: Future Fight features two unique game stages namely the Epcot and Disney’s Future World. The latter is composed of six themed areas namely Downtown Disney and Future World, Downtown Disney Premium Outlet Mall, Hollywood Studios, Pleasure Island, Animal Kingdom, and Magic Kingdom. Each of these areas features a different mission for the player and challenges are thrown in when the player doesn’t know the right move to make. Other areas in the game include the control room where the Doctor Strange awaits your attack, the Wakandan haven called Mount Kilimanjaro where the villain known as Skulls steal the gamma orb that contained the ultimate unknown power, the China Town where Doctor Strange encounters the Fantastic Four, and finally the Alaska park which is attacked by the Skrulls.
The game’s story revolves around the story of a future wherein only the finest of Marvel heroes will be left standing. Among these extraordinary heroes are the six known as the Ultimates who have been diagnosed with a deadly disease called amnesia. While no cure has been found for this disorder, a mysterious man called the Anti-Man will appear in human form and offer the Ultimates a way to cure their affliction. The evil Dr. Darkken also appears and tries to use the mysterious amnesia cure on the Ultimates but the three different heroes combine their strength to fight Darkken and save the earth from his clutches. The final battle takes place on the moon where the fate of the Earth rests.
