The Guide To unlocking content in the SimCity Build-It Game

SimCity BuildIt is arguably one of the hardest games around. If you know any gamers, you’ll know exactly how they’re feeling about it. It is so addictive, so much fun, and you get so frustrated that you just want to quit.

So what is the secret to making it so fun and playing it so long? Well, the answer isn’t as easy as you might think. The most important part of SimCity BuildIt is to raise your city’s population by unlocking the various residential areas. This is the real key to the game, as without a good number of residents in your smash will never be big.

You need to unlock all the residential areas and business buildings before you can use them to produce lots of jobs. You can only have so many residents, so try to keep as many goods production buildings stocked as you can. Some people believe that the goods should be produced at home, but this is SimCity BuildIn’s issue, not yours. You need to produce goods somewhere else.

So the best way to raise your population, and thus your SimCity level is to buy houses and other items with the money you earn from the jobs. Buy houses, and other assets cheaply, and then upgrade them when you can. When you do that, and you buy a lot of residential areas, you will be surprised by how fast your city grows. It may seem like a lot of work, but once you get into the groove of it, you will see that there is no such thing as a boring SimCity game.

The trick, however, is that you do not want to spend too much time on the task of actually earning money for the houses, because you are going to want to use those funds to purchase more residences for the next wave of job production. Keep upgrading all the residences, and your city will rapidly grow. As long as you have enough coins, you can always buy a couple of houses and put them up for sale, and earn even more money from them.

Of course, you could just as easily get a SimCity BuyIt guide and use it exactly as I described above. There are very few differences between my technique and the one SimCity recommends in its buyit guide. The biggest difference is that I do not spend any money on the residential areas until I am ready to make a purchase, and then I use my own money to purchase those residences. Then I simply build as many residential areas as I can, and then I use my coins to upgrade those buildings. That way I am not spending any money on properties, and my SimCity levels are consistently higher because I am also buying lots of new residential areas.

If you run out of funds while using your SimCity BuildIt package, you need to know how to save some. It’s easy; just quit playing. Otherwise, you need to know how to make sure the citizens of your building are happy, so you can earn more money by upgrading their homes. If you find that your population is unhappy with the way your buildings are designed, then you should make sure you either repair or upgrade those residential areas.

You can also earn extra money by selling the items in the apartments, hotels, and other buildings that are empty. You can buy the items from the auctioneer, but they usually charge a fee. If you play your cards right, you can unlock the items that are being sold for the lowest price in the auctioneer list, and then you can sell those items to the highest bidder for a profit. This is one way to earn some quick cash by using your SimCity BuildIt package to unlock some of the content of your buildings.
